In IMPACT a couple of weeks ago, one of our Team Leaders mentioned an agent in their office who was brand new and absolutely crushing it, despite, for the most part, not knowing what she was doing yet. Jen Briggs asked what the secret was and the team leader replied: “No secret! She’s just fearless!”
Fearless.
I’ve talked about it with quite a few of you since that IMPACT meeting. I’ve been reflecting on my personal life and that in business. I wonder what I could have accomplished by now if fear wasn’t in the way. I wonder where I may have traveled, who I may have met, and what things I could have done by now if I wasn’t afraid of something. This is a train of thought loaded with regret and scarcity, and I realize it’s not the best place for my little noodle to linger, so I flipped it.
What can I do, going forward in my life, if fear isn’t an option?
What can I accomplish If fear isn’t in my way?
How many lives can I change?
How many places can I go?
How many experiences can I give to my children and how many things are out there for me to see and do when I remove the fear factor from consideration?
A sudden CLICK happened and the world shifted for me on a microscopic yet powerful level. This new perspective is startlingly fresh and I now realize that every decision I make going forward will be weighing the pros and cons without fear but rather with faith.
I encourage you to take some time today to do some dreaming. Some vision casting. Some self reflection. What can you do if fear doesn’t get in your way?
