CHATGPT AND YOUR VISION

It’s hard to know how to draw a map if we don’t know our own destination, so in terms of casting a vision, this exercise is incredibly powerful. I can’t take credit for this one, and you’re going to thank me for it anyway.

One of the agents I have the honor of coaching is doing some forward thinking and they are in the process of reverse-engineering their perfect life, starting with their ideal vision for retirement and working their way backward.  At first, this exercise sounds daunting, however if you are familiar with the tools available to us via ChatGPT, you might already know that creating this vision for ourselves is possible with the assistance of artificial intelligence and a few thoughtfully guided prompts.

I did it and it had a huge impact on how I’m now working forward and planning my own future for myself and for my family. I followed the instructions precisely, I took my time with thoughtful answers, and the results left me motivated and quite honesty, really emotional.

Want to give it a go? Click the link below when you’re ready. Make sure you have at least 30-45 minutes to do this right, though.

So what do we do with this information?
Whatever you like, really, however I do have a suggestion…

First, complete the prompts. Take your time. Put some thought into it, and give yourself some space to process what comes out of the exercise. Allow yourself some time to journal, reflect, and notice the priorities that were noticed that you might not have before. Make note of the things that are most important to you in that vision, and if things show up that don’t seem to apply to what you want to do or have, consider giving that feedback back to the machine and ask it to re-compute your vision.

Once you’ve processed the output and you have a clear mental image of what your life will look like when all is said and done, go to bed. Yup, you read that right. Sleep on it. Your subconscious has some work to do, and quite often we don’t give that thing the freedom to move and play the way it needs to, being as saturated as we are these days in technology, information, and stimulus. Sleep on it.

Your next step is the most powerful and impactful on your forward trajectory. Examine your routine, your plan, your path. Answer these questions thoughtfully and honestly:

  • Are you on track to get to where you want to go?
  • What needs to change?
  • What needs to stop?
  • What needs to start?
  • What is serving your purpose and what no longer serves you?

This is the time to put pen to paper and sketch out a plan. This is where you may find leaning on a mentor or coach might come in handy. This is where I might come in, should you be open to a conversation. Don’t feel like you need to draw this map by yourself. You aren’t alone, and you’ve now got big plans and a big dream.

Let’s get there together.

As always, it is an honor and a privilege to be in business with each and every one of you.

Yours in Success,

Coach Lins
