Did you know that Keller Williams has a non-profit to help associates and their families in need? I’ve personally seen this incredible program in action, and it is important that our agents not only know that they have the power to make a difference, but also that in the unlikely tragic event, Keller Williams will support them.
As of 2023, KW Cares has given over $60,000,000 in assistance. 733 grants have been given and 272,268 agents donated portions of their commissions to support the nonprofit.
What is KW Cares?
KW Cares is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports Keller Williams associates and their immediate family members facing extreme hardship as a result of a sudden emergency. Hardship is defined as a difficult circumstance that a person or family cannot handle without outside assistance.
Our Natural Disaster Response “Angels”
“This is about changing people’s lives.”
We have a few special volunteers who step in every time there’s a major disaster. They load our trucks—sometimes working through the night. They mobilize people on the ground. They pitch in with a “no job too small” mentality.
We call them our Angels.
Three of these wonderful individuals sat down with us to talk about what drives them to give back to our KW Family.
We’re so grateful to be part of a company where people give of themselves—financially and with their time and energy—to make sure others have what they need during an emergency. It’s an honor to work with all of you.

Who is eligible to apply for a KW Cares Grant?
Associates of Keller Williams Realty and their spouse/domestic partner, children, parents and siblings, and employees of Keller Williams Realty International and their spouse/domestic partner, children, parents and siblings may apply.
When is an associate or family member eligible to apply?
A grant application will be considered only after an associate has been with Keller Williams for six months. The waiting period is waived during natural disasters.
Can KW Cares provide assistance for an emergency that precedes an associate’s Keller Williams start date?
No.
Are KW Cares grants just for natural disasters?
No. KW Cares grants provide assistance for Keller Williams associates and their families with financial hardship due to sudden emergencies such as: accidents, house fires, medical emergencies and unaffordable funeral and burial expenses.
