APRIL BLOGS
If you’re anything like I used to be, that’s the moment the story kicks in… “I did it again.”
“I just need to be more disciplined.”
“Maybe I’m not cut out for this level.”
Let’s tell the truth instead: You are not failing at consistency. You are trying to operate inside of a system that was never designed for your brain.
If you’ve ever glanced at your calendar, noticed a deadline sitting three weeks out, and felt completely at ease—only to be jolted into action by the realization that it’s suddenly tomorrow—you’re not irresponsible. You’re not disorganized. Your brain simply doesn’t register the passage of time in a linear, predictable way. That distinction matters more than you think.
Instead of calling, you research. And then you research your research. And suddenly it’s been two hours, you’ve opened 14 tabs, learned three things that are completely irrelevant, and somehow… still haven’t made the call. This is “Getting Ready to Get Ready.” This is “Productive Procrastination”. It looks responsible. It feels justified. It is also quietly keeping your business smaller than it needs to be.
