Frawley Coaching

Hello Friend,
Along with most of my fellow Minnesotans, I have a heavy heart today.
Tragic events, whether they happen close to home or not, can manifest giant feelings of guilt, shame, trauma, dread, and other negative triggering emotions. I’d like to share something that is helping me manage my own emotional stress that I read about recently: Glimmers.

Knowing that the human brain is capable of re-wiring (the concept of neuro-plasticity), and knowing that those things that we focus on will expand in our world… also know this: You can train your brain to notice glimmers, and this has real effects on your nervous system.
The term ‘glimmers’ was introduced by Deb Dana, a therapist and expert in Polyvagal Theory. Glimmers are brief, positive sensory moments that signal safety to the nervous system. Over time, noticing them more often strengthens neural pathways linked to calm and emotional regulation.
Recognizing glimmers activates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping to lower heart rate, blood pressure, and cortisol levels, while improving resilience to stress.
Examples of glimmers include:
• The warmth of sunlight on your skin
• A smile from a stranger
• The sound of birds or rain
• Drinking your favorite tea or coffee
• The smell of freshly baked bread
• Watching the sunset
My glimmers today are an unloaded dishwasher, my kiddos giggling together upstairs (not arguing) and my 14-year-old geriatric labrador mix snoring and farting at my feet. She’s old as heck but still gets the zoomies like crazy. I’m so glad she’s still here to stink up my office.
We were blessed with a beautiful break from the rainy weather on Father’s Day, and our kiddos had a chance to spoil Nate the way he deserved.  To those of you who celebrated a dad or were celebrated as a dad this past weekend, Happy Father’s Day! To those of you who are missing someone special and maybe this past weekend was extra hard for you:  I see you, and I’m holding space for you.
I trust you are all focusing on your own self-care as you are crushing your Monday.
You are important and your heart is so incredibly special. Take care of it.
Yours in Success,
Coach Lins
SCHOOL’S OUT FOR SUMMER!
Do you remember the glorious feeling when you were a kid? The last bell rang, your schoolbag jammed with the remnants of the bottom of your desk or locker, breathing in the sweet sweet freedom air as you exited the school building for the last time of the school year?
Sigh. Wouldn’t it be rad to go back in time and experience that carefree joy once again? Working from home, focusing on coaching calls, airballing snack packs and negotiating the “I’m bored” pleas. I created a few systems and discovered a couple of tricks to help maintain a semblance of sanity for the coming weeks and if you’re also in the same boat, check out my blog about Summer Sanity below.
JUST KEEP SWIMMING
You might have noticed on social media that I’ve signed myself up for a little fundraiser this month. I’m committed to raising money for the American Cancer Society by swimming ten miles in June. I’m more than halfway to my swimming goal and I’ve got some ground to cover for my fundraising one, so if you’re able and willing to pitch in, I’d really appreciate it!
Like many of you, my kiddos finished their classes this week and we’re currently in the honeymoon phase of freedom summer- at least for the children. Nate and I are reconciling having kids at home while attempting to conduct business as usual. Until recently I hadn’t realized that I had a little covid trauma to unpack before getting my head in the game for the summer months working full time from home, so I’ve been mentally preparing for this…

When someone comes to you with a problem, what is your first response? By nature, we’re wired to be problem solvers and fixers, and as leaders, it’s our job to frame up our response to not so much serve as a Band-Aid, but rather as an opportunity for that person to learn and grow.

Let’s talk about reframing.

Regardless if a successful agent hits their goal or not, they’ll always want to evaluate the lead activities that created the lag outcomes. There is a black and white process that will help you find out why you didn’t hit your goal and/or what you did RIGHT to hit it so that you can duplicate success.
Here we go…

PRIVATE COACHING SPOTS FILLING QUICKLY
I LOVE coaching and I know I’m in the right seat. In the spirit of full transparency, I want to make sure I’m giving the agents I am coaching 110% of my time and energy and since I don’t know my max yet, I’m really tentative when signing new clients.
I still have two spots available and once those are filled, I’m on lockdown until I’m in this world for a couple more months and I learn my own limits and boundaries. If you or anyone you know might find value in a private consultation to talk about a coaching relationship, it would mean a lot to me if you reached out.  Candidates must be coachable, driven, and culture keepers in their individual brokerages. If the candidate is a KW agent, they must no longer be enrolled in Productivity Coaching. Those programs are gold (I know from experience) and I’m happy to take PC agents on once they’ve completed their initial coaching.

My name is Linsey Frawley and I am a real estate coach and trainer. I’ve been in this industry in some capacity since 1996, where I worked the front desk of a small real estate office in Duluth and I managed the office Polaroid camera. I’m licensed as a Broker in Minnesota and Wisconsin and I own a Transaction Coordination company with my partner. My primary focus is coaching real estate professionals in their life and business, and I love helping people discover their inner strengths and opportunities.

I live in Eden Prairie with my awesome husband, two amazing little kiddos, and two derpy mutts. In my free time I love throwing pottery, reading, gardening, attending live music or comedy shows, or renovating some corner of our home.
